US subscribers to Amazon’s streaming service can watch all 6 episodes now

The Last Post is now available to be streamed on Amazon Video for all Amazon Prime customers. The series, which topped the list of most-anticipated British Dramas at this year’s Mipcom, is finally available to viewers in the US.

Created by Peter Moffat (The Night Of, The Village), The Last Post follows the lives of the British Royal Military Police and their families, posted in Aden, Yemen. Taking place in this dangerous part of the world, the action unfolds as the order of the 1950s is beginning to fade and Sixties are really starting to swing.

The Last Post is described by The Hollywood Reporter as “taut, brisk, moving and gorgeous”, while IndieWire calls it “a feast for the eyes”.

The series stars Ben Miles (The Crown), Tom Glynn-Carney (Dunkirk) and Essie Davis (The Babadook). Margery Bone and Elwen Rowlands from Bonafide, and Mark Pybus and George Faber from The Forge Entertainment are the Executive Producers.
